One Ring Donuts is seeking to build a team to make donuts and run our popular weekend pop up shops!

We are also interested in hearing from individuals who want to grow with us while we bring our shop from pop up to brick and mortar over the next few months. 

We currently pay all positions the Tompkins County Living Wage of $15.11 per hour.

Current work days are Friday evenings, Saturday, and Sunday (exact times to be discussed). Full time positions are anticipated once the shop opens (estimated Nov 2018).

The ideal applicant will be available for all sept/oct pop up weekends: 


(Select Saturdays and all Sundays) Approx 4-8 hours per weekend
Responsibilities include ringing up customers, interacting with donut lovers, and being a brand ambassador for One Ring Donuts.

Required skills: Personable, positive, detail oriented, high energy.

Desired skills: Experience with square register system.

(Select Fridays, all Saturday and Sundays) 
Approx 8-12 hours per weekend
Responsibilities include making dough, rolling and cutting, frying, making glaze, and glazing/topping donuts. 

We are looking for someone with attention to detail, cleanliness, positive attitude, propensity for problem solving. Applicants should have the ability to take initiative with confidence, and must be trust worthy, positive, and curious about and excited for donut making! 

We are willing to train the right person and are interested in building a team that can will grow with our business beyond the pop ups.

Duties will include, but are not limited to
Set up and breakdown of kitchen
Rolling dough
Dipping donuts
Producing glazes
Frying donuts
Clean up and dish washing 

We are looking for candidates who are:
Excited to work as a part of a team (and have dance parties while donut making).
Reliable and available for all pop up dates above.
Open to being positive and energetic at 7am on a weekend morning.
Willing to lift and move ingredients up to 50 lbs.
Able to think on your feet, be proactive, and solve problems.

Pastry/bakery/restaurant experience desired but not required. We will train the right person.
